Rob to Appear on Jay Leno

Looks like Rob might go on Jay Leno to promote Eclipse. Check it out:

The “Twilight” team has picked “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” to promote the third installment of the movie series, “The Twilight Saga’s Eclipse”. It has come to knowledge that Robert Pattinson is scheduled to have a talk with Jay Leno on June 15, two weeks away from the film’s release in the U.S.

Leno has not confirmed the appearance but a source did to Gossip Cop. It is still unclear whether Pattinson would be solo or accompanied by his co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. But these two have done their part in supporting the movie by attending a meet and greet in Sydney, Australia earlier this week.

Pattinson opted to visit Leno’s rival “Late Show with David Letterman” when promoting “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon” which hit theaters last year.

‘Eclipse’ UK Premiere Details

Apparently Rob, Kristen, and Taylor will not be attending the UK premiere of Eclipse according to this press release.

In 2008 we gave you the UK Premiere, in 2009 we hosted the ultimate fan party and in 2010 we’re descending on the square and introducing the UK to the rest of the pack! It will be your chance to get up close and personal with your favourite Cullens, Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen), Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen), Nikki Reed (Rosalie Cullen); the fiercely hot wolf pack Alex Meraz (Paul), Booboo Stewart (Seth Clearwater) and meet their new enemy Xavier Samuel (Riley). Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan), Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) and Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black) will not
be far away with specially recorded video messages for their UK fans.

‘Eclipse’ Promotional Schedule

Looks like Rob is going to be very busy these next couple of weeks to promote Eclipse. Here is a look at his schedule.

May 31: Sydney, Australia. Kristen and Taylor will be present for a Q&A event in Luna Park. The event will be run by Richard Wilkins but will be broadcast live via satellite from Sydney’s Luna Park into selected Hoyts cinemas.

June 3: Seoul, Korea. Kristen and Taylor are slated to arrive on the 2nd; Pan Cinema has announced a press conference, a “red carpet appearance”, and a fan meet and greet at a special meeting on June 3rd.

June 17: Rome, Italy. Eagle Pictures confirmed, via its web site today, that Kristen and Taylor are now set for an appearance in Rome. Few additional details are available .

June 21: Stockholm, Sweden. The official twilight web site in Sweden announced that Taylor and Kristen would visit Stockholm on June 21st. Though a media press conference has been announced, details of any fan events have not been definitively confirmed.

June 28. Madrid, Spain. According to Aurum Producciones, Ashley Greene and Xavier Samuel are slated to appear in Madrid to promote “Eclipse”. Already scheduled are a press conference and a session for fans to meet the actors.

Rob donates Artwork for Charity

Robert is helping a very worthy cause. He is donating some of his own artwork to help PACT for the International Missing Children’s Day.

PACT is marking International Missing Children’s Day 2010 with a “balloon launch” like none you’ve ever seen! Balloons are the official symbols of International Missing Children’s Day. Countries around the world have released balloons for years on this day to commemorate all the children still missing and to celebrate those who’ve been safely returned home. This year, PACT has a slightly different balloon launch in mind; Evan Cheng, head illustrator for Sesame Street, has designed a balloon card for us to send to celebrities worldwide as an inspirational canvas. We’ve invited them to make their creative marks on our balloons in any way they choose. On International Missing Children’s Day, 25 May, we will launch PACT with STARS, a combined live and eBay auction of these unique works of art from some of the most well-known names in the world.
