RPW Comic Con Reporter Meeting!!!

Hey, its Christine here! I guess I’ve been designated the organizer of meeting with the reporters and anyone else that wants to tag along to our Twilight panel session.

Here’s the details: I have the four-day pass. Which means I will be inside Comic Con, Wednesday from 6 pm to 9 pm. I will figure out the layout and do some major shopping at that time.

From about 9 pm, I asked the reporters for Robert-Pattinson.net to meet me and the others at the:

San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina. It is the hotel that is next to the convention center. You can google map the place and that’s where we’re meeting. In the lobby area at around 9 pm (because I will leave the convention center around 9 pm depending where I am at and if I’m near the exit, so it’ll take some time for me to arrive at the hotel)

There are a select few that I have given out my cell phone number and can reach me. I am no longer giving out my cell phone number. You can e-mail me from now on as a means of contact as I am bringing my laptop.

So, if you’d like to join the reporters and others for our Wednesday night meeting, send me an e-mail.

How the Autograph Signing Will Go!

Taken from the Comic-Con site itsself:

Rules for Line Ticket Drawings
• Due to the popularity of our many guest autograph signings, tickets for these are distributed by drawing.
• To participate in the drawing, please stand in the indicated line and pick a ticket out of a container. The winning tickets have a distinct stamp on the back. Once a winning ticket has been drawn, either:

1. The ticket will be kept by the winner to be exchanged for access into the designated autograph line at the specified location and time, or
2. The ticket will be exchanged for a wristband, which will admit the wearer into the designated autograph line at the specified location and time.
• If a winning ticket is not drawn, you may return to the end of the line to try again until all winning tickets have been drawn. One winning ticket per person, per signing.
• No lines may form until five (5) minutes before the drawing is to begin and the location of the Official Line is announced. Any line formed prior to the announcement of the location of the Official Line will be not be recognized as an Official line and will be dispersed.
• The drawing will not begin until the time listed in the Events Guide or Daily Newsletter.
• Winning the drawing for a line ticket grants you, with your winning ticket or wristband, the opportunity to stand in line to get an autograph at the location and time designated when you drew the winning ticket.
• The duration of the autograph session is taken into account when determining the number of winning tickets.
• The Fire Marshall may shut down any line they feel is a hazard at any time.
• Your badge does not guarantee autographs at any event.

Don’t Forget Me!

Hi everyone! From the looks of it, the other reporters were wrong. But not to worry, they were right about all the Comic Con stuff. They were just wrong about two things: Steph being the last reporter, and Tiffany being the youngest. Looks like I am the last reporter, AND the youngest. I am almost 17. I have never been to the Con, but I have had encounters with many-a celeb, and am quite good at getting autographs, if I do say so myself :). Since it is a limited signing, however, it looks like it is going to come down to pure luck of the draw. But between all of us, hopefully atleast one of us will get autographs. Rest assured, though, that I will get pictures and (hopefully) questions answered. Let’s hope my apparent youth sways the panel to call on me (Haha). So, please post any questions you would like me to answer for you here or questions for Rob or the other panelists.

Hey everyone!

I received questions about this, so I come to you today with one of the press releases Summit did a few days ago, detailing the autograph signing and some of the goodies going on in the Summit booth. I know some of you have been curious about the autographs, so read this for important information!

Additionally, visitors to the Summit Entertainment booth located within the Grand Hall will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with life size standees of Twilight’s Edward, Bella, James, Laurent or Victoria and instantly e-mail the images to friends. At the booth, attendees will also have the chance to win one of thousands of exclusive and limited Comic-Con promotional prizes including TWILIGHT items and advance DVDs of NEVER BACK DOWN. Back at Comic-Con’s designated autographing room, lucky winners will have the opportunity to participate in a limited autograph session with the panelists from PUSH, KNOWING and TWILIGHT.

In my experience, signings have been through some sort of ticket system: raffle, lottery, etc. So, while not everyone will have access to the autograph signing, it looks like Summit has fun things planned for us. Best of luck to everyone attending and I hope to see you all there!

Sorry I haven’t updated anything here, I just got back from my vacation, and my paperwork was REALLY piled up when I got back to work.

I just want to thank all of you who emailed me with your videos and questions, rest assured that they will be sent to our lovable hunky “Spunk”-y. I know you all spent a great deal of time creating them, and they’re all awesome!

For those that emailed about tagging along, we’re happy to tag anyone and everyone! The more the merrier. Please refrain from using your voice too much this coming days, because we’ll all need our voices in perfect screaming mode on Thursday as soon as Robert walks in at Hall H. ha ha!

I might have mentioned on my previous emails or posts to watch out for our shirts so you’ll all know who to look for at the day of the con, and here it is:

With less than a week to go, the excitement is totally building up. I can’t wait to meet you all.
