COFFEE
It’s the unseasonably cold November of 2008 when I go to New York’s Bowery Hotel. There’s a young man sitting in the garden, wrapped in about nine black sweaters and wearing a wool hat, smoking cigarettes, sipping a latte the size of his head, and furiously making notes on a script in the bitter cold. I have read about teenage girls lighting themselves on fire in front of his hotel, but at the moment Robert Pattinson is warming his hands on a coffee cup.Hello, I’m Jenny. I think I’m here so you can check me out.
“Okay. I’m Rob. Um . . . would you like some fries? With gravy?”Allen Coulter, the director of Hollywoodland and a creative force behind The Sopranos, has sent me. He was thinking about doing this movie—it wasn’t quite there yet, but I should “come meet Rob.”
Scans of Robert’s feature in the March issue of Vogue Magazine and the February issue of Details magazine have surfaced and can now be viewed in our gallery thanks to the awesome pattinsonlife. Please note that the Details magazine scans contain a lot of nudity, by viewing the photos in this album you are agreeing that you are 18 years or older. Enjoy!

E! Online reports that Robert has been confirmed to attend the Hope for Haiti Telethon that will take place this Friday!
Robert Pattinson is on board.
I just got word that the Twilight star has signed on for Friday’s Hope for Haiti telethon. As of right now, it looks like Rob will be the sole presenter in London, with performances by Jay-Z and Bono.
Stateside performers—some announced and others not—will include:
Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Shakira and Bruce Springsteen, who are among those performing live during the two-hour benefit, which will air on all the major television networks (including our very own E!).
Gossip Cop reports that Robert won’t be attending this year’s People Choice Awards for which he has been nominated for “Favorite Movie Actor”.
First off, a still from New Moon of a scene that didn’t make it into the movie has been added to the gallery. Click on the thumbnail below to view it in full size. Also, Robert and the latest Twilight movie – New Moon and the upcoming Eclipse have both been named winners of Moviefone’s Year End Poll.
At Moviefone.com, Chris Weitz’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon was named best movie (global box office: $662 million) with more than 40 percent of the vote. The film’s male star, Robert Pattinson, was chosen the sexiest actor, followed by his New Moon rival Taylor Lautner, the “male breakout star” of 2009. Megan Fox, the star of Michael Bay’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, was both the sexiest and the worst actress of the year. There are worse combos, you know?
Curiously, voters were markedly divided when it came to Revenge of the Fallen. Bay’s saga about the eternal fight between robots and humans (or what passes for human in today’s blockbusters), was chosen as the year’s worst film, the best action movie, and the second-most disappointing release after Sacha Baron Cohen’s Bruno.
