May 31: Sydney, Australia. Kristen and Taylor will be present for a Q&A event in Luna Park. The event will be run by Richard Wilkins but will be broadcast live via satellite from Sydney’s Luna Park into selected Hoyts cinemas.

June 3: Seoul, Korea. Kristen and Taylor are slated to arrive on the 2nd; Pan Cinema has announced a press conference, a “red carpet appearance”, and a fan meet and greet at a special meeting on June 3rd.

June 17: Rome, Italy. Eagle Pictures confirmed, via its web site today, that Kristen and Taylor are now set for an appearance in Rome. Few additional details are available .

June 21: Stockholm, Sweden. The official twilight web site in Sweden announced that Taylor and Kristen would visit Stockholm on June 21st. Though a media press conference has been announced, details of any fan events have not been definitively confirmed.

June 28. Madrid, Spain. According to Aurum Producciones, Ashley Greene and Xavier Samuel are slated to appear in Madrid to promote “Eclipse”. Already scheduled are a press conference and a session for fans to meet the actors.

Robert is helping a very worthy cause. He is donating some of his own artwork to help PACT for the International Missing Children’s Day.

PACT is marking International Missing Children’s Day 2010 with a “balloon launch” like none you’ve ever seen! Balloons are the official symbols of International Missing Children’s Day. Countries around the world have released balloons for years on this day to commemorate all the children still missing and to celebrate those who’ve been safely returned home. This year, PACT has a slightly different balloon launch in mind; Evan Cheng, head illustrator for Sesame Street, has designed a balloon card for us to send to celebrities worldwide as an inspirational canvas. We’ve invited them to make their creative marks on our balloons in any way they choose. On International Missing Children’s Day, 25 May, we will launch PACT with STARS, a combined live and eBay auction of these unique works of art from some of the most well-known names in the world.

Robert Pattinson is best known for his turn as vampire heartthrob Edward Cullen in “The Twilight Saga,” but if the actor had followed through on his teenage hopes, he would have walked down a very different career path — as a rapper.

“I used to want to be a rapper when I was, like, 14,” the British actor revealed during an appearance on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” set to air Thursday.

Pattinson, who was joined on the show by co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner to promote the release of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” in June, explained that his interest in American movies, music and other entertainment helped him develop his American accent as Edward in “Twilight.”

“But Kristen thinks I do the most terrible American accent,” he joked.

“No, no I don’t,” Stewart laughed in response. “Occasionally, some word will come out, and I’ll be like, ‘We don’t say that!’ ”

Of course, Pattinson did not pursue his youthful dreams of becoming a rapper. Instead, he became one of the most prominent icons in modern popular culture, thanks to his involvement in the “Twilight” series. “It’s a great position to be in, because you can walk into a room and everybody’s screaming,” he laughed of his association to “Twilight.”

But Pattinson believes that fans are more passionate about his “Twilight” character than they are of the actor himself. “It’s not really about you,” he said. “So it never really goes to your head, and you can kind of participate in it. It’s about the fans themselves.”

According to People magazine, Oprah gave one family a gift beyond what they could have possibly imagined: RPattz delivered to their doorstep.

Maria Mele had apparently sent in a photo of her family, who look a lot like the Cullens, when Oprah requested fans submit stories about how “Twilight” had changed their life. The initial response was not tickets as they had hoped, but a chance to Skype with Oprah from their Naperville, Ill. home. When the scheduled time for the Skype chat came, Maria and her family were instead surprised by Robert Parttinson walking into their house.

Hitting shelves at the end of May, “Fame: Robert Pattinson” is the latest in Bluewater Productions’ popular line of bio-comics. The 32-page comic promises to “trace Pattinson’s career from his first performance in Tess of the D’Urbervilles at London’s Barnes Theatre to his star turn in the Twilight movies,” and features a script by Kim Sherman and interior art by Nathaniel Ooten.

“Fame: Robert Pattinson” hits shelves May 26, but Bluewater has advised calling comic shops ahead of time to order your copy. It will also be available for order on Amazon.com.
