Also, in an interview with LA Times Blog, the Twilight producer talks about Breaking Dawn which apparently begins filming this fall and says that Robert has indeed signed up for the movie.
Wyck Godfrey, the producer of all the films in the “Twilight” saga, admits that the creative team still doesn’t know how they’ll handle the character in the “Breaking Dawn” movie, but said that the plan is absolutely for the production to go forward — as either one or two installments — with an eye toward beginning to shoot in Vancouver this fall. All three stars are signed for “Breaking Dawn,” he said, meaning that Stewart and Pattinson will be dealing with the joys and woes of interspecies parenting and newly minted heartthrob Taylor Lautner will return as often-shirtless shape-shifter Jacob Black.
New Moon and Little Ashes have all been submitted to the Oscar’s committee for consideration and have been accepted. This means that if the Academy members vote for them they have a chance at being nominated. Let’s keep our fingers crossed! It’s great that they were at least considered.

6. “New Moon” Fever Strikes
Aside from Gaga, the other obsession we couldn’t shake in 2009 was the breathless wait for the release of the “Twilight” sequel “New Moon.” From the slow reveal of the trailer to the details of the movie’s smash opening weekend, we took you behind the scenes for every step of the journey, though even we couldn’t unravel the truth behind the alleged relationship between co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
First off, a still from New Moon of a scene that didn’t make it into the movie has been added to the gallery. Click on the thumbnail below to view it in full size. Also, Robert and the latest Twilight movie – New Moon and the upcoming Eclipse have both been named winners of Moviefone’s Year End Poll.
At Moviefone.com, Chris Weitz’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon was named best movie (global box office: $662 million) with more than 40 percent of the vote. The film’s male star, Robert Pattinson, was chosen the sexiest actor, followed by his New Moon rival Taylor Lautner, the “male breakout star” of 2009. Megan Fox, the star of Michael Bay’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, was both the sexiest and the worst actress of the year. There are worse combos, you know?
Curiously, voters were markedly divided when it came to Revenge of the Fallen. Bay’s saga about the eternal fight between robots and humans (or what passes for human in today’s blockbusters), was chosen as the year’s worst film, the best action movie, and the second-most disappointing release after Sacha Baron Cohen’s Bruno.

Popstar has posted an article about the highlights of Robert’s career next year that will make him own it.
It’s a wrap on 2009! For Robert Pattinson lovers it has been an amazing year filled with candid interviews that has given fans a chance to get an inside look at the actor’s private life. Thanks to the Robsessed DVD we got to take a trip back in time before Pattinson was larger than life and just playing open mic night for Phil Taylor at The Albany alongside friend Bobby Long. We also learned a lot about Rob while he was promoting the release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon back in November. As 2009 winds down, we look to the horizon of 2010 and wonder what is in store for the uber famous Robert Pattinson.
It is an undeniable fact that Rob will make his fans swoon with his casual hair flips, his brilliant knack for being fabulous, and his interesting roles in upcoming films. In 2009, Rob appeared in a few indie films, Little Ashes (2010) and How to Be (2009) along with the international blockbuster The Twilight Saga: New Moon. But come 2010, Pattinson is taking a different approach as leading man.
Also, thanks to pattinsonlife some gorgeous new additions from the New Moon press conference have been uploaded to the gallery. Enjoy!
News are being awfully slow at the moment but a few small things have popped up. One new still from New Moon has been added to the gallery and Robert has won three categories at the Popsugar Australia Awards. Read what they had to say below.

Favourite Male Movie Star of 2009: Robert Pattinson
Oh don’t give me that look. With Rob and Kristen named hottest couple and New Moon as our pick for 2009′s biggest flick, even my 90-year-old nan saw this one coming. The Twilight hunk’s name was on everyone’s lips in 2009, and with good reason. Those brooding eyes, that hair, that chest, R-Patz, as our favourite big screen vampire Edward Cullen, made the idea of a particularly violent hickey sound good. So thumbs up for a stellar year R-Patz. We can’t wait to see you up on the big screen in 2010.
Here’s yet another interview with Rob which he did for Deccan Herald.
The film, second in the blockbuster ‘Twilight’ saga, is releasing in India on December 11 and the British actor is confident that it will break all the records in the country.
“I expect that ‘New Moon’ breaks all the records in India too. I hope people like the film and it becomes a craze there,” Pattinson told PTI in an email interview.
The 23-year-old star hopes to visit India and says that his first acting assignment was in Indian-American filmmaker Mira Nair’s ‘Vanity Fair’.“Yes, why not if I get a chance to visit India? I think many don’t know that I started my film career with ‘Vanity Fair’ where I played Rawdy Crawley. The film was directed by Indian filmmaker Mira Nair.
“Unfortunately, my role was chopped off and it was only seen when it came on home videos. But it was a wonderful experience and I learnt a lot there. That’s where I first heard about the Indian culture and film industry,” says Pattinson.
