When will How To Be be released in cinemas?
We are working towards a cinema release in early 2009. In the meantime we are showing the film at film festivals worldwide.

What about a DVD release?
How To Be will be released worldwide on DVD after the cinema release.How can I stay up to date with the release and film festival screenings?Please sign up to the mailing list and join our Facebook group.

I’d love to see How To Be at my local film festivals.
Great! Drop us a line and tell us its name and we’ll see what we can do. Please note that many festivals require that a film be a world, international or regional premiere or that it is completed no more than twelve months before the festival. How To Be has shown at a number of festivals and was completed in January 2008, so please bear that in mind before suggesting a festival.

Will there be bonus material on the DVD?
Definitely! We’re working on it.

What is the song playing in the trailer?
The song playing in the trailer is “Hammond Song” by The Roches. You can find it on their self-titled 1979 debut album.

It appears that the “Twilight” premiere date has been pushed forward to an earlier release! Instead of the December release as originally planned, Summit Entertainment has recently announced that the film will in fact be releasing on the 21st of November!

We at Hero Complex were as bummed as anyone to hear that “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” was being moved all the way back to July 2009.

But this has resulted in something of an early Christmas gift for “Twilight” fans: “Twilight” will now premiere Nov. 21, instead of Dec. 12.

According to a press release from Summit Entertainment, the move takes advantage of the new opening in the fall release calendar:

“When Warner Bros. decided to move ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ to the summer of 2009, we saw a unique opportunity to slot in our film, which has been gaining tremendous awareness and momentum over the past several months,” said co-chair and CEO of Summit Robert G. Friedman. “We by no means are trying to fill the shoes of the incredible ‘Potter’ franchise for 2008, rather we are just looking to bring the fans of Stephenie Meyer’s incredible book series the film as soon as possible from a programming perspective.”
