Hi, I understand French and was able to follow the show. It might seem like the French talk a lot but it’s like any other talk show. Anyway, one of the presenters (the dark haired woman) had to do a synopsis of the film to everyone (hence the long opening in French). It was funny when they asked the audience Edward’s “secret” in Twilight (though it’s not really a secret that Edward’s a vampire) and Rob said “he’s actually a woman”. One of the discussions made reference to other American shows with vampiric themes (hence the South Park clip) and the American’s fascination for this genre – for which they asked Rob for his opinion why. High School musical was mentioned in the context of making parallel observations with it’s popularity to Twilight. What I really liked about this is Rob’s evident familiarity with the French language. It seemed like he understands French – based on his quick reactions to the question/comments. Unlike Kristen where it was obvious from the pauses that she needed the translation before she could respond. This also probably explains why she looked so uncomfortable during the whole segment. Don’t know if it’s true or not but someone wrote that Rob studied French for 3 yrs in the Harrodian Private school. If true, this is another one to add to his ever growing list of accomplishments.

Yeah, true that – and especially in this show – they talk a lot which is annoying. And they don’t even listen to answers or even give time to guests to answer, which is REALLY annoying! Look how many journalists and guests there are : this is no sense! I don’t like this show but it’s the most popular in France at the mo and the place to be for hollywood guys.
Congrats Sharon, you’ve got the all thing. I wish my understanding of english was as good as your understanding of French.
