Attention Twilighters: All major actors from the megahit vampire flick have signed on for the 2010 sequel New Moon and the Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke is getting ready for the next film.

Also, MTV’s Larry Carroll posted an interesting article on the sequel:

As Twilighters are all too happy to point out, author Stephenie Meyer has already penned three smash sequels to her intimate ode to human-immortal romance. The first, “New Moon,” got the green light for production this past weekend, less than 24 hours after “Twilight” began breaking box-office records. The best-selling sequel tells a decidedly darker story that has Bella receiving a nasty paper cut, getting attacked by one of her potential in-laws and becoming an adrenaline junkie while an in-hiding Edward teeters on the edge of suicide.

After this weekend, it appears that fiercely loyal “Twilight” fans may similarly have some cool scenes to look forward to in the not-so-far-away future. Source

i’m am a really big fan… like so many others. i have read twilight 12 times and the others 5… when the movie came out i waited for 7 hours in the cold to c the midnight showing… this is huge for me… i couldnt be happier now….

It’ll give me a good few months to enjoy my soft, lovely bed after spending many nights camping out and sleeping on cold, filthy sidewalks.
Next year when the movie promos start, we’ll start camping out to see Rob again =)

Clips in the not so far away future!?!?!?! When! As if the movie being so far away isn’t terrible enough and now you leave a cliff hanger like that. Oh the torture! Hopefully, Catherine will get the movie done early like this one and it will come out in 2009.

i am a huge fan & have seen the movie already a couple times! the books are just amazing & i can’t stop reading them.
i love twilight more then ever! cannot wait for the next movie “new moon”…

But i heard that New Moon doesnt have him that much in it. ***SAD***. but they will have to put him in there somehow. I love twilight and i cannot stop watching it.
